Our Story

Long before I ever pinned a boutonnière or adjusted a veil, I was just a kid running barefoot through the woods, chasing light with a camera in hand.

Growing up surrounded by rolling hills, tall trees, and open Appalachian skies taught me to see the world as it truly is........Unfiltered and Authentic.. I learned early on that the best moments aren’t staged.....They’re Lived. They happen in the quiet spaces, the sudden bursts of laughter, and the unfiltered energy of just being present.

When I stepped into Wedding Photography, I brought that same wild curiosity with me. To me, your wedding day isn't a rigid checklist or a series of stiff poses; it’s a living, breathing story. I’m still that same storyteller at heart......I just traded barefoot woods for wedding aisles, fully dedicated to capturing the moments that feel like home.

a closer look

the photographer behind the lens

After graduating with two degrees from West Virginia University and spending over 19 years photographing weddings, I’ve become pretty good at the art of being everywhere and nowhere at the same time....quietly capturing the moments that matter most while you’re busy living them. Some people call it experience; I like to think of it as photography ninja skills (though, just to clarify, I have absolutely no actual martial arts abilities.......cameras only).Beyond the lens, a few things you should know about me: I am deeply in love with photography, completely devoted to my three slightly rotten (but very lovable) cats, and mildly obsessed with building things with my hands. If it sparkles, I’m instantly interested, and whenever I need a creative spark, travel and live concerts are my go-to fuel. My other absolute daily essentials include mac & cheese, ice cream, and the occasional slice of wedding cake.

But at the end of the day, the real reason I do this comes down to the magic of the celebration itself. I love the emotion of first dances, the energy of last dances, and all the quiet, unscripted moments in between that make every wedding completely unique. Mostly, I just love love—and getting to turn it into something tangible that you can hold onto forever. Honestly, I might just have the best job in the world.
